Kumar, P.; Singh, N. P. Unsteady MHD flow of a dusty viscous liquid through an open rectangular channel. (English) Zbl 0738.76084 Bull. Calcutta Math. Soc. 83, No. 2, 97-109 (1991). Summary: In this paper a three-dimensional laminar flow of an electrically conducting viscous incompressible fluid with non-conducting identical spherical dust particles through a long rectangular channel under the influence of constant magnetic field and time varying pressure gradient is investigated. Taking the fluid and dust particles to be initially at rest, velocity distribution and flux of flow have been obtained. Velocity field for both the liquid and the dust particles at fixed time and different values of Hartmann number have been studied with the help of graphs. Some particular cases have also been given.
