Front tracking applied to a nonstrictly hyperbolic system of conservation laws. (English) Zbl 0736.65075
Front tracking methods are applied to a nonstrictly hyperbolic system of conservation laws in one dimension. The front tracking method is based on approximate solutions of Riemann problems. The proposed method is compared with the random choice scheme and the upwind scheme.
