Some spaces of holomorphic maps to complex Grassmann manifolds. (English) Zbl 0736.54008
The homology with arbitrary coefficients of the space of holomorphic base point preserving mappings of degree $$k$$ from the Riemannian sphere into the Grassmannian of all complex $$n$$-planes in $$\mathbb{C}^{n+m}$$ is computed. Furthermore it is shown that the natural mapping into the space of all continuous mappings of the same kind is injective in homology.
