Some spaces of holomorphic maps to complex Grassmann manifolds. (English) Zbl 0736.54008
The homology with arbitrary coefficients of the space of holomorphic base point preserving mappings of degree \(k\) from the Riemannian sphere into the Grassmannian of all complex \(n\)-planes in \(\mathbb{C}^{n+m}\) is computed. Furthermore it is shown that the natural mapping into the space of all continuous mappings of the same kind is injective in homology.
