Identification of physical parameters of ground vehicle using blockpulse function method. (English) Zbl 0698.93014
Summary: Two schemes are proposed to identify the parameters of ground vehicle dynamics, one off-line and the other on-line. The differential equation of the ground vehicle is first changed into an integral equation. The multiple-integrals of the input and output signals are approximated using block-pulse functions, and the batch-processing least-squares method and recursive least-squares method are used to identify the parameters of the ground vehicle dynamics. Simulation results show that these two identification schemes are very effective.
