On generalized fuzzy relation equations: Necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of solutions. (English) Zbl 0661.04004
The solvability of the “fuzzy equations” $$R\circ X=T$$ and $$X\circ S=T$$, where S, R, T and the unknown X are binary lattice valued fuzzy relations provided with the sup-min composition, is studied and several solvability criteria are proved.
