An averaging method for applied problems. (Metod usredneniya v prikladnykh zadachakh). (Russian) Zbl 0643.34057
Spravochnaya Matematicheskaya Biblioteka. Moskva: Nauka. 256 p. R. R. 1.20 (1986).
The author presents mathematical methods which allow the investigation of complicated nonlinear oscillating systems with the help of the averaging method. The main part of this book consists in concrete methods and algorithms for solving problems of the theory of nonlinear oscillations. Wellknown classical problems and new applied problems (many-dimensional differential equations with variable frequency and resonance) are used in this book to show the efficiency of the suggested methods and algorithms.
