Waner, Stefan Mackey functors and G-cohomology. (English) Zbl 0544.55011 Proc. Am. Math. Soc. 90, 641-648 (1984). Being given a compact Lie group G, this paper describes three different categories with objects G/H, H a closed subgroup of G. Functors from these categories to the category of abelian groups are called Bredon, Mackey, and Hecke functors and provide coefficient systems for equivariant cohomology theories. The author studies the cohomology of classifying spaces corresponding to these different equivariant theories.
