Classification of nilpotent Lie algebras of dimension six.(Russian)Zbl 0198.05501

All nilpotent Lie algebras of dimension 6 over a field of characteristic 0 are explicitly determined. Use is made of the fact that any Lie algebra of dimension $$n$$ contains a commutative ideal of dimension $$m\geq \frac 12 (\sqrt{8n+1}-1)$$.
