Zhang, Yucheng; Chen, Fuchuan Equilibria of the abstract economy under almost lower semi-continuous assumption. (English) Zbl 1058.91057 Northeast. Math. J. 19, No. 1, 26-32 (2003). For special abstract economies, where constraints and preferences are correspondences (set-valued mappings, multifunctions), the authors prove the existence of equilibria under different conditions. Especially the constraint correspondences only have to satisfy a weakened lower semicontinuity, given by F. Deutsch and P. Kenderov [SIAM J. Math. Anal. 14, 185–194 (1983; Zbl 0518.41031)] or even (in finite dimensional cases) a slightly weaker one. To get the desired existence results they use in particular Himmelberg’s fixed point theorem, the finite intersection property and Michael’s selection theorem.
