Summary: A multi-class traffic flow LWR model is studied based on the theory of one-order hyperbolic conservation laws and a mathematical proof of the hypertonicity for this model is given. Furthermore, the Riemann invariants for the multi-class traffic flow LWR model are also studied. Last, the coherence between MCLWR model and LWR model is pointed out.
