B 18, No. 4, 492-498 (2006). Summary: Based on a depth-averaged 2D numerical river model, the flow and sediment movement downstream of the Cuijiaying dam Hanjiang River(China) are investigated. A new technique is employed to achieve synchronous dynamic visualization of topography and velocity field. The calculating results can reflect the relationship between flow and corresponding topography.
