Three-dimensional gravity and gravity-capillary interfacial flows. (English) Zbl 1108.76016

Summary: We calculate steady three-dimensional flows due to an immersed disturbance that propagates at a constant velocity along the interface between two semi-infinite fluids, with a lighter fluid lying above a heavier one. Three-dimensional fully localised gravity-capillary solitary interfacial waves, in the absence of the disturbance, are also computed.
