Sofonea, Mircea; Stanca, Andreea Differential inclusions arising in contact problems with elastic-visco-plastic materials. (English) Zbl 1103.35369 An. Univ. Craiova, Ser. Mat. Inf. 28, 67-78 (2001). Summary: We consider a nonlinear evolution inclusion associated with a time dependent convex set in a Hilbert space. We prove an existence and uniqueness result for the problem using arguments from the theory of evolution equations involving maximal monotone operators and fixed point theory. We apply this result to models of the quasistatic evolution process of frictional or frictionless contact problems with viscoplastic or viscoelastic bodies, respectively.
