On application of smoothing spline-approximations in problems of creep parameters identification. (Russian) Zbl 1002.74511

The authors consider the problem of the processing of initial creep diagrams presented by the set of discrete experimental data on some fixed interval. The structure of the approximating function is chosed in a form of a smoothed cubic spline. Such features of the creep process as three-stage character, monotonicity, the avalability of the inflection point and two asymptotes are reflected. The statistical nature of the material rheological properties is also taken onto account. The smoothing procedure consists of the “disturbance” of tabular experimental data and the introduction of some “weight” coefficients that establish the deviation between smoothing splines and tabular data. The problem of construction of the averaged smoothed spline for a siries of creep curves is solved. The technique is employed to identify the creep parameters of some modern and prespective materials used in power engineering.
