Math., Wuhan Univ. 32, No. 4, 663-668 (2012). Summary: We study the Lie triple derivations of general linear Lie algebras over a commutative ring. By constructing some special matrices and calculating, we obtain the forms of all Lie triple derivations of the general linear Lie algebras over an arbitrary commutative ring with identity, which generalize the notion of derivations to a more general case.
