Parabolic bundles in positive characteristic. (English) Zbl 1425.14030

Summary: Algebraic parabolic bundles on smooth projective curves over algebraically closed field of positive characteristic is defined. It is shown that the category of algebraic parabolic bundles is equivalent to the category of orbifold bundles defined in [the first author and A. J. Parameswaran, “Formal ordifolds and orbifold bundles in positive characteristic”, Preprint, arXiv:1512.03235v1]. Tensor, dual, pullback and pushforward operations are also defined for parabolic bundles.
