Bedoya, Elizabeth; Gómez, Armando; Tayal, Vipin Exact percentage points for testing bipolarity of a multivariate normal model. (English) Zbl 1055.62065 Math. Sci. Res. J. 8, No. 10, 293-311 (2004). Summary: The null distribution of D. F. Votaw’s criterion [Ann. Math. Stat. 19, 447–473 (1948; Zbl 0033.07903)] for testing bi-polarity of a \((p+q)\)-variate Gaussian model has been derived using the inverse Mellin transform, properties of special functions and the residue theorem. The exact percentage points for \(p\leq 4\), \(q\leq 4\) have been computed using the distributional results derived in this article.
