Comput. 25, No. 6, 727-731 (1998). In this paper, Kemper’s algorithm for the computation of a noetherian normalization of the invariant ring of a finite group is improved. The presented algorithm also works over arbitrary coefficient fields, but no longer relies on algorithms for primary decomposition.
