Choi, Young-Geun; Tsai, Wei-Yann; Paik, Myunghee Cho A general class for quasi-independence tests for left-truncated right-censored data. (English) Zbl 1428.62453 Stat. Sin. 29, No. 2, 789-808 (2019). This research summarizes, under a general class, existing and some new quasi-independence tests for assessing the relationship between failure and truncation times in survival analysis. The innovation of the article is centered around the employment of U-statistics indexed by skew symmetric functions, in order to represent the common structure of the test statistics. The asymptotic properties of the class are provided, together with simulation evidence on the test’s power functions performance for various data types as well as a discussion on the appropriateness of each test subject to the problem settings.
